Wedding Photography

It’s no secret of the sticker shock some couples get when browsing for a highly sought after wedding photographer. Market research says that wedding photography can range from $2,000 to $10,000 and beyond. Again, that depends on your market and type of photographer you’re seeking. I would say most couples stay within the $2k-$5k range. Our collections start out a little over $2k and include two photographers, 6 hrs of coverage, 700+ edited images, consultations, and an album credit. You can add on an engagement session, more hours of coverage, wedding album, or large canvas prints.

If you’re wondering why so steep for photos, consider the amount of gear, editing software and business expenses professional photographers have to make yearly. Sometimes it’s hard to justify a $3,000 piece of camera equipment, so we understand what it takes to invest in photography just as you are for your wedding day.

Be upfront and honest about your budget. In the end, it’s about investing in the way your memories will be captured and who you will be spending your wedding day with. I spend a lot of time with my couples on their wedding day and go on to make lifelong relationships with them. Year after year my couples return for maternity and family photos, or recommend me to other couples for their weddings. Hire someone you can trust to be part of other special moments in your life. I am so thankful for my past couples that I see every year or on social media growing their family. It’s one of my favorite parts about my job 🙂

Wedding Videography

The only regret I hear from couples about video is that they hired an inexperienced wedding videographer. We always outdo ourselves and create fun and nostalgic films that will always resonate in your heart. Yes wedding films are known to be cheezy and shaky, but the time of VHS and big hair are over. My film team and I have the equipment, etiquette, and editing skills to make your wedding film epically romantic and fun to watch. Wedding Film Collections can range from $3k-6k depending on a few things: Hours of coverage, number of cameramen, and final edited films.

Our base collection starts at $2500 for: 6 hrs, two cameramen and a (5-7 min) Highlight Film. You can add more films such as our popular 30+ minute feature film, or a standalone ceremony and/or reception film. We can even edit a one minute preview film to share on social media. Be prepared to pay a little more than photo because more equipment is needed and editing time is double than that of photography. We also included two revisions for each of your films (more details in contract)

Remember, your photos and films are the only things you’ll have to recall your day other than the hundreds of cell phone pictures taken by your aunt Susan. It’s an investment. Having a budget of over $5k for both wedding photography and wedding films is recommended.
