Best Temecula Murrieta Winery Wedding Venues

Temecula is a stunning destination for weddings. It offers many fantastic venues known for its beautiful vineyards and rolling hills. Over my 8+ years as a Temecula Wedding Photographer, I’ve come to appreciate what each venue has to offer. The scenery is perfect for capturing unforgettable moments.


My favorite venues provide lovely backdrops, great service, and an atmosphere that makes weddings special. They each have their unique charm, whether you’re looking for rustic elegance or modern sophistication. You can consider these venues if you want a beautiful wedding without overspending. Here are my favorite wedding venues in Temecula.


1. Peltzer Winery

Peltzer Winery is my absolute favorite Temecula wedding venue. The property is filled with vintage machinery and textured backdrops that make for amazing photos. All the couples who book at Peltzer are laid back, want to enjoy their day, and focus on the bigger picture and overall experience with their guests.


We know all the best spots depending on the timeline, as we shot at this venue over a dozen times. The venue offers a stylish bridal suite overlooking the entire property, and there’s a pretty cool airstream for the guys to relax in. The coordinator is always ready to drive us around in their cart during sunset to grab those golden hour photos.


Couples who book with Peltzer can also use the grounds for their engagement photos. Peltzer Cellars is the perfect fit for your wedding if you love country music, wine, and don’t mind some dust on your boots. It’s an iconic Temecula wedding venue that feels anything but ordinary.


2. South Coast Winery

South Coast Winery is a full-fledged wine resort that boasts open spaces, hotel villas, and a saltwater pool. This venue is known for its ability to accommodate large events while executing them with precision. The staff is always on their A-game to make sure everything runs smoothly.


The reception area is conveniently located just outside the ballroom with ample space for your guests. This Temecula wedding venue will not disappoint if you are planning a wedding during any season of the year. I always recommend booking a few extra days to unwind after your wedding festivities.

3 Mount Palomar Winery

Mount Palomar Winery is another hidden gem in Temecula Wine Country. Located atop a hill, the sprawling property features gorgeous landscaping and breathtaking views. The reception area is stunning for watching the sunset and enjoying the night stars.


The market lighting and elegant columns create a romantic feel. There are countless photo locations nearby with plenty of paved areas and grassy spots. The best part is that the reception area is completely separate from the winery to make sure your event feels private.


The barrel room feels like a cherry on top when it’s chilly outside for off-season weddings. Mount Palomar is one of the affordable Temecula wineries that doesn’t compromise on beauty. 4. Lorimar Winery

Lorimar Winery is conveniently located right off the roundabout on Rancho California Rd. This venue features a unique area among orange groves and vineyards, with a beautiful barrel room for receptions. The ceremony typically takes place near the main winery, where you can catch the last rays of sunlight.


The outdoor reception area is perfect for summer weddings, with market lighting that sets the mood for the evening. Onsite bridal and groom suites provide added convenience which allows you to relax before the ceremony. The catering is excellent, and the staff is efficient.


The orange groves are a favorite backdrop for photos. Lorimar Winery is an excellent option if you want an affordable wedding venue that still delivers charm and iconic Temecula Views.



5. Morgan Estate Venue

Morgan Estate has one of the highest views of rolling vineyards I have seen. The Southern-inspired home is perfect for a hilltop wedding. The venue offers both bridal and groom suites for a more tailored experience since it’s a private estate.


The reception area is one of the best perks. The large tiled and covered space is ideal in case of inclement weather. The market lighting, fire pits, and panoramic sunset views make this venue a true gem.


Morgan Estate is an excellent choice if you prefer privacy and elegance for your outdoor wedding. This venue provides an affordable yet beautiful setting for your special day.


6. Vienza at Europa Village
