I love beach engagement sessions! I get to smell the fresh ocean air, hang out with rad couples, and dig my feet into the warm sand.

Olivia and Mike were referred to me by their cousin who’s wedding I also filmed and photographed. They saw the photos and knew they wanted to have me take theirs as soon as they got engaged.

Olivia surprised Mike with the engagement shoot as it was his birthday the day before and he thought they were going to a pop up dinner in Newport Beach. Initially, they decided they didn’t want engagement photos, but Olivia knew she would regret not having them taken.

We met up at Reborn Coffee right off PCH where we chatted about life and got ready to head out to Crescent Bay Beach.

Olivia wore the color that would be part of her wedding color scheme. Mike complimented her forest green dress with his dark blue slacks and maroon button down shirt.

Crescent Bay Beach is a beautiful sandy bay between two huge seaside cliffs and tide pools. The water was glistening with a golden hue as the sun was getting ready to dip into the orange horizon.

Olivia and Mike were naturals in front of the camera. They were blown away at how “sexy” and photogenic they were in their photos! With a little direction, their poses were simple, candid, and playful. It also helped that their romantic chemistry was on fire!!!
